Applegate HomeCare provides household services for those clients requiring only homemaking assistance but not nursing care.  All Applegate homemakers are made aware of any physical or mental limitations of clients:

Homemaker services include but are not limited to:

• Laundry, ironing, simple mending, changing of linen (unoccupied beds), grocery shopping, errands, etc.
• Meal services: planning, preparation, clean-up
• General cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, mopping
• Bathroom cleaning
• Window washing "easily reached"
• Clean and defrost appliances
• Collect trash for pick-up
• Provide social interaction and companionship
